essence of light

Shooting infrared transports you to a special realm normally unseen. Its essence can be other worldly, ethereal and quite removed from the realities of day-to-day life. Slowing down time by using a long exposure gives the trees a ghostly feel.

For this series of images, I used a Hoya R72 infrared filter with my Olympus OMD EM5mk1 digital camera.
